Cassie Cao
Cassie Cao is a Canadian Comedy Award winning comedian, writer, and actor based in Toronto. Cassie was a “New Face of Comedy” at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival. Her standup can be seen in the first season of CBC Gem’s The New Wave of Standup, Crave’s The Jon Dore show, and on both seasons of Roast Battle Canada. Cassie is a highly sought after television writer, having written for Netflix’s Kim’s Convenience, HBO Max’s Detention Adventure, CBC’s True Dating Stories and the live Giller Prize Award Show. She has also written for the stage for the Second City and The Blue Man Group. As an actor, Cassie can be seen in numerous television comedies such as Amazon’s Kids in the Hall reboot, CBC’s sketch show Tallboyz, and PBS Kids’ Odd Squad.
Cassie was formerly an economist and has years of experience telling jokes about the interest rate to prominent Canadian policy makers.
Nour Hadidi
Nour Hadidi is standup comic and writer. She has appeared at Just For Laughs, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, and CBC’s The Debaters, and more recently filmed a half hour comedy special for Comedy Central in the Middle East. Nour has also written for CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and Comedy Network’s The Beaverton, Abroad on OMNI, and CBC Gem’s True Dating Stories.
Jarrett Campbell
Jarrett Campbell is one of the fastest rising talents in Canadian Comedy. His work has been featured on MTV, CTV, Comedy Network and CBC. From New York to Vancouver, Jarrett has been on stages all across North America and continues to tour regularly with Yuk Yuks. He has opened for the likes of Chris D’Elia, Theo Von, Andrew Schulz, Mark Normand, Andrew Santino and many more. He appeared on Jeff Ross’s Roast Battle, as well as Roast Battle Canada, and recorded his second television set on the Jim Jeffries Gala at Just for Laughs in Montreal. Jarrett was nominated as the 2019 Breakout Artist of the Year at the Canadian Comedy Awards, and has previously been nominated for Best Writing in a Comedy Series. Jarrett was nominated for Comedy Album of the Year at the 2020 Junos.
